SH Maths Tutoring

I'm very patient and try to bring out the best in each student, through teaching them how to understand different topics.  In addition to this, I try to provide students with lots of study skills and learning resources to enable them to work independently and to help them improve their confidence and academic success. I provide tutoring services to students with different levels of experience, in Maths and Biology, from Primary to GCSE. I usually tutor online using Zoom.

I qualified as a teacher over 25 years ago, and have taught in many schools.  For over four years, I have been mainly tutoring Maths for Year 7 to 11, helping students understand Maths more easily, and improving their confidence.

 

I have an enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service.

 

As I have also used tutors, and want to make sure my tutoring services are very flexible. If a time is suitable then the student is more likely to learn.  So I don't charge for tutoring until afterwards and I'm ok with rearranging a session even at the time we have arranged.
